My Story

Welcome! My name is Edun Kalmar, and I am a dedicated private music teacher specializing in piano, clarinet, and saxophone. My passion for music began at the age of five when I first started playing the piano, followed by saxophone at age eleven and clarinet at fourteen. Since then, music has been an integral part of my life, both as a performer and educator. I earned my degree in Music Education from Florida State University, where I had the opportunity to perform with the FSU Wind Orchestra and Symphonic Band. My performance experience extends to prestigious ensembles such as the FSYO Symphonic Orchestra and the BUTI Tanglewood Young Artists Wind Ensemble and Clarinet Workshop. One of my most memorable achievements was performing a clarinet concerto at Carnegie Hall, a milestone that deepened my appreciation for the art of performance. Beyond performing, I have a passion for teaching and mentoring young musicians. I was a camp counselor at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, where I guided students in their musical growth and helped foster their love for music. Now, as a private instructor, I strive to provide engaging and personalized lessons tailored to each student's unique musical journey. Whether you're a beginner just starting out or an advanced musician looking to refine your skills, I am committed to helping you achieve your musical goals. I believe that music should be both fun and fulfilling, and I aim to create an encouraging and inspiring learning environment for all my students. If you're interested in lessons or have any questions, feel free to reach out—I’d love to help you on your musical journey. Please Call or Text: 407-635-1170 for more information!
